EU citizens and family members permit also known as a Yellow Slip is the Immigration Permit granted to EU citizens and/or their family members, whether the latter are EU citizens or Third-Country nationals, upon application before the Cyprus Authorities.

A yellow slip allows for the EU citizen their family members to reside and/or work in Cyprus.

The application for a Yellow Slip must be done within four months from the date of entry into the Republic of Cyprus.

MEU 1

The application for the issue of a registration certificate is submitted by an EU citizen and family members who are also citizens of a Member State, within four months from the date of entry into the Republic.

MEU 2

The application for the issue of a residence permit is submitted by Family Members of an EU citizen who are not citizens of a Member-State, within 4 months from the date of entry into the Republic of Cyprus.

MEU 3

The application for the issue of a permanent residence certificate is submitted by an EU citizen and family members also Citizens of a Member State, after a five-year period of uninterrupted legal residence in the Republic of Cyprus.

The application for the issue of a permanent residence card is submitted by the family members of an EU citizen who are not citizens of a Member State, after a five-year period of uninterrupted legal residence in the Republic of Cyprus.
